The striking Cadillac 2026 F1 livery was revealed during Sunday night’s NFL Super Bowl as the team officially launched its debut campaign on the Formula 1 grid.
The new challenger which is yet to be named features a split‑side colour design with one side predominantly white and the other predominantly black, marking a historic moment for the American motorsport giant backed by General Motors.
As the Seattle Seahawks clinched victory in the fiercely contested match, Cadillac F1 team seized the prime advertising slot to introduce their debut racing colors, positioning them as an unmistakably American force ready to challenge the established European dominance in the pinnacle of motorsport.
Cadillac‘s livery itself is a masterpiece of asymmetric design that defies convention with its stark black-and-white split configuration.
One side of the car gleams in pristine white, symbolizing aspiration, optimism and ambition, while the opposing side plunges into deep, matte black, representing grit, determination, and raw performance—a deliberate yin-and-yang philosophy that encapsulates the team’s ethos.
At the heart of the compositional layout is the Cadillac script logotype which appears on the nose and across the body work with team owner TWG prominently featured on the sidepods.
Swedish software company IFS appears on the rear wing endplates, while the bargeboards feature American whiskey brand Jim Beam alongside Mexican telecommunications company Claro—Sergio Perez’s longtime sponsor.

“Cadillac 2026 F1 livery represents far more than a paint scheme; it represents who we are and what we bring to Formula 1,” said Cadillac F1 team CEO Dan Towriss. “Every detail is intentional: bold, modern, and unmistakably American, while respecting the heritage and precision that define this sport.
“Choosing to reveal our first race livery during the Super Bowl and in the heart of Times Square is a way to introduce our identity to the world at the intersection of performance, culture, and entertainment, and to connect with fans in places far beyond the paddock.”
Preceding the Super Bowl spectacle, Cadillac had already demonstrated its 2026 contender in subdued testing guises, including a private shakedown at Silverstone last month and three days at Barcelona’s group test, where the car logged 164 laps without major incidents.
Those runs featured a temporary dark, camouflaged livery with monochrome geometric patterns and oversized Cadillac crests to obscure aerodynamic details under the new regs—a common tactic for regulation-era debuts.
The Bahrain pre-season tests kicking off this week with a filming day on Monday followed by official sessions from Wednesday will mark the race livery’s on-track debut, offering fans first live glimpse of the full car.
Drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez, a powerhouse duo with 527 combined Grand Prix starts and 16 victories, bring seasoned leadership to guide the car through its initial laps.
