Kimi Antonelli etched his name into the history books as the inaugural winner at Madring after capitalizing on a cruel twist of fate that stripped Lando Norris of what appeared to be a commanding victory.

Max Verstappen finished a distant second, 4.351s adrift, while Norris recovered from his pit stop misfortune to claim third. Charles Leclerc was fourth for Ferrari, while George Russell held off a late challenge from Red Bull’s Liam Lawson to secure fifth.

Franco Colapinto delivered Alpine’s best result of the season in seventh, Oscar Piastri could only manage eighth after a strategy gamble backfired, while Racing Bulls’ Arvid Lindblad and Audi’s Nico Hulkenberg rounded out the points.
