WorldSBK 2026 calendar: 12 rounds confirmed

MOTUL FIM World Superbike Championship has unveiled WorldSBK 2026 calendar featuring 12 rounds meticulously structured with new dates.

The newly revealed schedule reaffirms the series’ commitment to its classic European venues while incorporating strategic adjustments that reflect evolving logistical and competitive dynamics.

The journey begins in traditional style at the iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Australia, set for February 20-22, 2026. The event is preceded by an official two-day test on February 16 and 17, providing a final shakedown before the flag drops.

From Australia’s public holiday-inspired round the World Superbike Championship later heads north to mainland Europe, settling at Portugal’s Algarve International Circuit in Portimao from March 27-29.

April sees the championship touch down in the Netherlands at the historic TT Circuit Assen known as “The Cathedral” for Round Three, scheduled from April 17-19.

The European rounds have been reshuffled for the WorldSBK 2026 calendar, with Hungary’s Balaton Park Circuit moving up the schedule and is now set for May 1-3. From Hungary, teams travel to the Czech Republic for a return to the Autodrom Most, slotted in for May 15-17.

Rounding out May, MotorLand Aragon in Spain assumes a pivotal role as the championship’s halfway stage, now running from May 29-31 rather than its previous autumn placement.

Summer in Europe brings the adrenaline-imbued Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” to life, with Round Seven set for June 12-14 followed by a journey to the British Isles for the United Kingdom WorldSBK round at Donington Park from July 10-12 before summer break.

After a well-deserved hiatus, teams and riders reconvene in early September at France’s Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours and later make a third visit to Italy to the recently added Cremona Circuit, now rescheduled to September 25-27.

The penultimate round takes place at Circuito Estoril in Portugal from October 9-11 before the World Superbike Championship season finale at Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto in Spain, scheduled for October 16-18 but subject to contract finalization.
