The Italian champion now sits at the summit of the riders’ standings with an staggering 434 points, creating a commanding 121-point buffer over his Aruba.it Racing Ducati teammate Iker Lecuona, who has accumulated 313 points despite finishing second in every race at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
Yari Montella moves up to third place after completing the podium in all three races, and he now holds a clear 14-point advantage over Alex Lowes who moves up a spot as well.
Sam Lowes drops to fifth, while Axel Bassani leapfrogs Lorenzo Baldassarri to take seventh.
