Leclerc and Sainz to sport new Ferrari suits for Las Vegas Grand Prix

Ferrari is all in on new suits for Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The first-ever Las Vegas Grand Prix is drawing near, and Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will be racing while sporting unique race suits.

The Scuderia is betting big on red and white while going all out for overall victory in the American event. The team unveiled its new designs in the hopes that this would tip the odds in its favor in the run to secure second place in the constructors’ championship.

As Formula 1 experiences a surge in popularity, calendar expansion has emerged as a prominent subject matter, with the US being the primary target market.

Although the United States and Miami GPs had previously represented America on the Formula 1 calendar, the most recent entry is possibly the most eagerly awaited event in Formula 1 history.

Additionally, Ferrari’s Leclerc and Sainz will be racing while donning brand-new race suits.

Ferrari’s regular racing look for the team this season has been red and black with the iconic Ferrari badge. However, for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix the team opted for red and white, which is not quite as Vegas red or black, but still a big bet for Ferrari.

Ferrari hopes for a turnaround in Las Vegas after a disappointing Sao Paulo GP. Leclerc’s crash during the formation lap in Brazil during their most recent race did not bode well for the team as a hydraulic problem was cited as the cause.

The race between Mercedes and Ferrari for second place in the Constructors’ Championship draws closer to its grand finale and Ferrari needs to win big in Las Vegas. Mercedes leads Ferrari by 20 points with just two rounds left in the 2023 Formula 1 season.
