Haas marked the first Formula 1 team to unveil their 2026 F1 car and livery, signaling the dawn of a transformative partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing.
The bold reveal, shared through striking digital renders on social media, showcases a sleek white and red livery that prominently features Toyota branding, replacing the previous MoneyGram sponsorship and rebranding the team as TGR Haas F1 Team for the upcoming season.
The Haas unveiling comes amid heightened anticipation for 2026 F1 rules overhaul, positioning the American outfit at the forefront of what promises to be a more agile, sustainable, and electrified era of grand prix racing.
Visually, the Haas VF-26 stands out with its aggressive white base accented by bold crimson streaks sweeping from the nose cone across the cockpit and into the engine cover, evoking new partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing while retaining the team’s American flair through subtle star-spangled motifs on the airbox.
Multiple angles released by the team—front three-quarter, side profiles, and overhead shots—reveal exposed rear suspension linkages optimized for the new 18-inch wheels and low-profile Pirelli tires, designed for 30 percent less rotating mass to improve braking stability and thermal management.
Safety enhancements are evident too, including reinforced roll hoops, revised impact structures, and LED indicators for ERS status, meeting FIA’s rigorous crash test protocols amid concerns over lighter chassis weight dropping to around 768kg.
Haas’s design team, led by technical director Andrea De Zordo, has incorporated new features including a pushrod front and rear suspension as well as refining diffuser profiles for better wake management in dirty air—a critical edge in the closely contested 2026 midfield.
“It feels almost a bit surreal to be unveiling a new car this early in the year, but it’s not any less exciting venturing into a new F1 campaign especially one with such a change in regulations,” said team principal Ayao Komatsu.
“We’re fully focused on being ready for shakedown week in Barcelona. It’s been a monumental effort from everyone on the team to work with such a tight turnaround time from the end of last season to putting cars on track in January.
“It goes without saying that after so much talk, we can’t wait to see how these cars will perform and what we’ll face as we then progress through our test programs ahead of Australia.
“Track time is going to be crucial through Spain and Bahrain and while we know there’s going to be challenges along the way, we do this because we’re passionate about Formula 1.”
Behind the wheel of the Haas VF-26 will be a proven driver pairing: Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman, both secured on multi-year contracts extending through at least 2026, blending experience with youthful potential.
Ocon, entering his second season with the team after a solid 2025 rookie campaign that challenged the norms of his Alpine tenure, brings tactical acumen from podium finishes and a penchant for wet-weather mastery, aiming to propel the VF-26 into consistent Q3 appearances.
British prodigy Bearman, who impressed with late-2025 outings, retains his seat as a Ferrari junior, his raw pace and adaptability poised to shine under the new active aero regime.
