Check out the adjusted 2025 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix starting grid following a disqualification after wild Baku qualifying.

Haas driver Esteban Ocon was disqualified from the qualifying results due to a technical infringement involving his car’s rear wing, which failed the FIA’s rigorous post-qualifying deflection test.

Ocon’s disqualification means his P18 on the grid has been relinquished, with Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon each moving up one position.

Gasly now starts 18th, and Albon takes 19th on the grid, the latter having endured a crash during Q1 which was one of the six red flags recorded during Baku qualifying.

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen start Sunday’s race from pole position after beating Carlos Sainz by nearly half a second, completing a rather unusual and competitive front row.

Liam Lawson will headline the second row on the grid after achieving his career best Qualifying result, followed by Kimi Antonelli in P4, while Mercedes teammate George Russell starts from third row alongside Red Bull’s Yuki Tsunoda.

Lando Norris will line up in fourth row next to Racing Bulls’ Isack Hadjar, while McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc occupy the fifth row after suffering Q3 crashes.
