Dan Fallows set to join Aston Martin after Red Bull release

Red Bull and Aston Martin have issued a joint statement to confirm that a settlement has been reached regarding Dan Fallows’ departure notice period.

Last June, Red Bull revealed that Dan Fallows, the team’s Head of Aerodynamics, would be joining Aston Martin. Fallows would not be released from Milton Keynes until the end of his contract, which stretched until 2023, according to Red Bull.

Fallows, however, will be joining Aston Martin on 2 April 2022 as part of an agreement between the two teams, until then, he will continue to work for Red Bull Technology.

Red Bull has employed the 48-year-old since 2006 as its Chief Engineer of Aerodynamics.

“We would like to thank Dan for his many years of excellent service and wish him well for the future,” Red Bull boss Christian Horner said.

Martin Whitmarsh, Group Chief Executive Officer of Aston Martin Performance Technologies, said, “We are pleased to have reached an agreement with Red Bull which releases Dan early from his contract and are looking forward to him joining the team.”

Dan Fallows, said, “I’ve enjoyed many happy years at Red Bull Racing and am proud of what we achieved. I am looking forward to next season and a new challenge.”
