Alpine announces partnership with Kappa and K-way

Alpine F1 Team has partnered with Kappa and K-Way, two companies from the Italian group BasicNet, as part of a major partnership for the coming season.

The French team has confirmed that Kappa will become an Official Partner ahead of the 2022 Formula One season, and will outfit its drivers, Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon, as well as all technical and operational staff, off-track for the course of the deal.

The Alpine Esport Team and the Alpine Academy are also covered by this deal as K-Way becomes the Official Lifestyle Partner, and the squad will receive all of its travel attire from them.

Kappa will partner with Alpine F1 Team to develop several textile collections for the team kit, fanwear products, a footwear line, and accessories. A global network of partners and licensees will allow the Italian brand to distribute and market these collections worldwide.

Kappa has collaborated with some of Europe’s most prestigious football clubs, like Juventus, AC Milan, FC Barcelona, and AS Roma, for more than 40 years. Besides football, the brand has also partnered in athletics, rugby and skiing.

“We are delighted to welcome Kappa as the official clothing supplier for our track and factory teams and drivers,” Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi said.
“We share the same desire to pursue performance and style while drawing inspiration from our history. Kappa has always been ahead of the market in design and technology.”
“We are also pleased to collaborate with K-Way, an iconic and elegant brand that reflects the integral values of Alpine. We look forward to working together over the next years.”
