2025 Malaysian MotoGP Sprint Race Results

Francesco Bagnaia secured a lights-to-flag Sepang Sprint victory, crossing the finish line 2.259s ahead of Alex Marquez who secured a solid second place to cement his position as the 2025 MotoGP Championship’s runner-up.

Pedro Acosta was a notable early contender for the podium, holding his position in the top three for the majority of the race until his spot was challenged in the closing laps.

Meanwhile, Franco Morbidelli displayed consistent pace and tactical nous to finish an impressive fourth for VR46 Ducati, while Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo rounded out the top five.

Marco Bezzecchi put in a gritty performance despite starting outside the front rows, clawing his way up through the pack but ultimately settling for sixth place.

Fermin Aldeguer’s sprint race was notable as he crossed the line in seventh to claim the Rookie of the Year title for 2025, although an eight-second penalty for low tire pressure demoted him to seventh.

Johann Zarco emerged as the top Honda rider in eighth after teammate crashes as KTM Tech3’s Enea Bastianini earned the final championship point with a commendable ninth place followed closely by Fabio in tenth.
