Starting grid for 2026 San Marino MotoGP at Misano

Marco Bezzecchi will start the 2026 San Marino MotoGP from pole position after delivering a record-breaking qualifying lap at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

Bezzecchi became the first rider ever to break the 1:30 barrier at Misano after posting a stunning lap record of 1:29.982 to secure his fourth pole of the season and second in a row.

The factory Aprilia rider will share the front row with reigning world champion Marc Marquez and Gresini’s Fermin Aldeguer, creating a highly competitive opening line for Sunday’s main race.

Fabio Di Giannantonio will headline the second row alongside championship leader Jorge Martin and Luca Marini. The third row will feature Pedro Acosta, Franco Morbidelli and Alex Marquez, the latter hoping to rebound from two crashes in qualifying that left him ninth.

LCR’s Johann Zarco had qualified 11th but was demoted by three positions after stewards ruled that he had impeded Bezzecchi during Q2. Zarco’s penalty promotes Fabio Quartararo to the fourth row alongside Raúl Fernández and Pol Espargaró.

The 2026 San Marino Grand Prix is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. local time.
