George Russell was fastest in final practice for Formula 1‘s Las Vegas Grand Prix edging Max Verstappen by 0.227 seconds.
Alex Albon in the Williams impressively secured third overall, while Racing Bulls’ Isack Hadjar followed closely in fourth, his consistent performance placing him just 0.294 seconds behind Albon.
Lewis Hamilton finally logged a clean and competitive lap after missed opportunities in FP1 and FP2, ending the session fifth despite a tense moment where he narrowly avoided a collision with Lawson at Turn 14 by going off track.
The middle and lower midfield drivers saw a range of performances with Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes finishing sixth, showing solid pace in tricky conditions.
Liam Lawson was seventh fastest, followed by Aston Martin duo of Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso in eighth and ninth, while Alpine’s Pierre Gasly completed the top ten.
Consequently, McLaren’s Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri found themselves at the bottom of the timesheets in 19th and 20th respectively, after encountering issues that severely limited their track time and competitive runs.
