Max Verstappen claimed victory at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with Oscar Piastri finishing a strong second and Lando Norris securing third to clinch the Formula 1 Drivers Championship.
Behind them, Charles Leclerc delivered a measured performance to finish P4 and pick up valuable points, while George Russell navigated the floodlit track to claim fifth for Mercedes.
Fernando Alonso delivered an impressive performance in sixth for Aston Martin, followed closely by Haas’ Esteban Ocon and Lewis Hamilton who delivered a remarkable recovery drive after a disappointing qualifying to finish eighth.
Lance Stroll and Oliver Bearman finished ninth and 10th in the second Aston Martin and Haas, but were both handed five-second penalties for making more than one change in direction in their on-track battle.
This promoted Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg to ninth, while Stroll was classified 10th ahead of Gabriel Bortoleto.
