Max Verstappen slashes the deficit to Formula 1 championship leader Lando Norris down to 24 points following his commanding victory at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Norris who initially crossed the line in second was disqualified from the race along with his teammate Oscar Piastri who finished fourth after the stewards discovered both McLarens had excessive plank wear.
This development throws the F1 championship race wide open with two rounds remaining, with Verstappen now level on points with Piastri as he pursues a record-breaking fifth title.
