Kevin Magnussen celebrates new born daughter

Kevin Magnussen has many reasons to celebrate after announcing the birth of his second daughter ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Haas Formula One driver Kevin Magnussen and his wife Louise are expecting their second child. The newest member of the couple’s family is due to arrive in the summer of 2023.

They currently have a two-year-old daughter named Laura. The news represents a positive change in Kevin’s personal life while he has been battling to keep up with Nico Hulkenberg who is his teammate in the Haas squad.

Magnussen will be aiming to boost his two-point total for 2023 ahead of this weekend’s event. There hasn’t been much reason to celebrate at the finish line, despite the fact that Haas consistently demonstrated that their car can be fast on Saturday, especially when driven by Nico Hulkenberg this season.

The announcement was shared on social media by Magnussen’s wife, who included a video of herself cradling her baby bump.

Nevertheless, regardless of the outcome of the race this weekend the 30-year-old will have enough to be happy about because he recently became a father for the second time.

Magnussen disclosed that his second daughter, Agnes, was born on Monday.

Taking to social media, the Dane said: “Laura is now a big sister. Welcome to the world Agnes. We love you so much. You’re [his wife, Louise Gjørup] a superstar.”

In the driver standings, Magnussen currently stands in 18th place heading into Hungary, seven points behind teammate and longtime adversary Hulkenberg.
