F1 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix Race Results: Full classification after 70 Laps

Lando Norris dominated the 2026 Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix to secure his first victory of the year in a tense McLaren intra-team battle that ended in heartbreak for Oscar Piastri.

The reigning world champion finished 15.080 seconds clear of Max Verstappen, while Kimi Antonelli held onto the last step of the podium.

Lewis Hamilton initially finished fourth but was handed a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane, dropping him to fifth behind Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc.

Behind them, Isack Hadjar finished sixth in the second Red Bull, showcasing strong pace throughout the race, while George Russell recovered to seventh after a disastrous start saw him drop to 21st due to an anti-stall issue.

The midfield battle provided its own drama with Racing Bulls’ Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad going wheel-to-wheel in the closing laps, ultimately finishing eighth and tenth respectively, separated by Audi’s Nico Hülkenberg, who scored his first points of the 2026 season.
