F1 2026 Belgian Grand Prix Qualifying Results

Kimi Antonelli delivered a commanding performance in qualifying at Spa-Francorchamps, beating Max Verstappen to pole position for the 2026 Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix.

The nineteen-year-old Mercedes driver laid down a benchmark lap time of 1m44.361s in the closing moments of Q3 to deny Verstappen the top spot by 0.317s.

McLaren’s Lando Norris settled for third after his final effort was frustrated by a slight off at the Fagnes Chicane, however, the lap he had already set proved sufficient to hold off George Russell who qualified fourth, 0.508s behind team-mate Antonelli.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton rounded out the top six in qualifying, separated by just 0.002s, followed by Oscar Piastri and Arvid Lindblad.

Gabriel Bortoleto took an impressive ninth for Audi, while Isack Hadjar was officially classified tenth after failing to set a qualifying time in the final segment.
