Alpine duo of Franco Colapinto and Pierre Gasly clocked the fourth and fifth fastest times after a jointly logging 125 laps in the new A526.
Challenges punctuated the day for Haas and Audi: Oliver Bearman endured two gremlins in the new Haas VF-26 with his best lap only good for sixth, while Nico Hulkenberg parked the R26 after only four laps, limiting him to 68 laps and was the day’s slowest.
