2025 Indonesia MotoGP Sprint Race Results

Checkout updated 2025 Indonesia MotoGP Sprint Race Results, Mandalika, round 18 of 22.

Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi recovered from a slow start to claim a sensational sprint victory ahead of Gresini rookie Fermin Aldeguer, who led for most of the race.

Raul Fernandez sailed home in third, securing his maiden MotoGP Sprint podium — a career milestone for the young Spaniard and a high point for Trackhouse Aprilia.

Other notable performances included Aldeguer’s teammate Alex Marquez who finished fourth despite starting deep in the grid, while Joan Mir and Luca Marini rounded out the top six for Honda.

However, Marini was slapped with an eight-second time penalty for low tyre pressure after the race, which dropped him down to 13th.

Recently crowned 2025 MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez managed to finish seventh (later promoted to sixth) after serving a long lap penalty for his contact with Alex Rins earlier on the opening lap.

However, Marc’s team-mate Francesco Bagnaia finished last as the factory Ducati duo faced performance struggles at Mandalika.

Meanwhile, VR46 riders Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio followed in seventh and eighth, respectively, as Pramac’s Miguel Oliveira and KTM’s Brad Binder rounded out the top ten.

Five riders suffered DNFs; Pedro Acosta crashed at Turn 1 on Lap 5 and later withdrew into the garage, while Fabio Quartararo crashed on the final lap of the race, joining compatriot Johann Zarco, Enea Bastianini and Somkiat Chantra as non-finishers.
