Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc topped opening practice for Formula 1‘s Las Vegas Grand Prix with Williams’ Alex Albon finishing second, just 0.166 seconds adrift.
Yuki Tsunoda completed the top three, just +0.269 seconds off Leclerc’s fastest lap, with Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen following closely in fourth.
Albon’s teammate Carlos Sainz clocked the fifth fastest lap, while McLaren faced a tough session with both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri struggling to find rhythm and pace, leaving them down in sixth and eighth, respectively.
The team papaya duo was split by Racing Bulls’ Isack Hadjar in seventh, as Mercedes pair George Russell and rookie Kimi Antonelli rounded out the top ten.
