French GP Sprint: New 2026 MotoGP Championship standings

Jorge Martin has narrowed Marco Bezzecchi’s lead to just six points following his dominant MotoGP Sprint victory at Le Mans.

Bezzecchi maintains a precarious six-point lead atop the championship with 108 points after round five of 22, but his Aprilia Racing teammate Martin’s surge to 102 points signals an intensifying intra-team battle that could define the season.

The Saturday showdown delivered high drama with crashes and bold overtakes, reshaping the hierarchy as Pedro Acosta vaults to third, just a point ahead of Fabio di Giannantonio who remains as the leading Ducati rider in fourth.

Reigning champion Marc Marquez remains in fifth but his gap to Bezzecchi has expanded to 51-points after crashing out of the sprint.

Alex Marquez moves up to sixth, just two points behind his brother, while Trackhouse Aprilia’s Raul Fernandez tumbles to seventh after his own retirement.
