Cadillac has unveiled a striking special one-off livery for the 2026 Formula 1 British Grand Prix as the team celebrates the United States of America’s 250th anniversary.
The American squad will replace the usual black-and-white asymmetrical scheme with a red, white and blue design at Silverstone, a perfect visual tribute to celebrate the milestone.
The timing is especially sharp because this year’s British Grand Prix falls across the 4th of July weekend, with Saturday’s Sprint and qualifying landing on America’s 250th birthday, giving Cadillac a natural hook for both sporting relevance and patriotic symbolism.
Silverstone is also a fitting stage for the message because it is one of Formula 1’s most historic venues, and Cadillac is using that backdrop to present itself as a distinctly American entrant in a deeply international championship.
The MAC-26 will feature a full red, white and blue palette, with stars and stripes elements incorporated into the bodywork including the front section and engine cover in reference to the American flag.
The special look extends beyond the car itself with matching team kits as well as helmets of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez, creating a coordinated presentation across the entire operation.

“The 4th of July weekend is a moment for us to show our continued pride in representing the United States on the global stage of F1,“ Team CEO Dan Towriss said. “Cadillac unveils special F1 British GP livery as an opportunity to allow new communities to discover the sport and share our passion.“
Cadillac heads to Silverstone after a difficult Austrian GP where both Perez and Bottas retired with brake issues before Lap 5, marking the team’s first double retirement in its debut campaign.
While the outfit is yet to score a point in its first eight races, team principal Graeme Lowdon reported positive signs from recent Spielberg upgrade package.
“The Austrian Grand Prix was a challenge for us – but there is not one team in the pitlane that has not had similar days,” said Lowdon. “We have been working incredibly hard to rectify the issues. We have seen that the upgrades brought to Spielberg were positive, and our objective in Silverstone is to ensure that we have a clean weekend to maximize the performance potential we see.
“We appreciate it’s a big task – especially coming so soon after Austria – but we will take every opportunity to learn, move forward and continue our progress as a team.“
Cadillac marks the third team to reveal a special livery for the 2026 Formula 1 British Grand Prix after McLaren and Williams debuted new looks to celebrate their home races.
