2025 F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix FP2 Results

Lando Norris remained on top in the second free practice for the 2025 Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, beating title rival Max Verstappen by 0.363 seconds.

Mercedes’ George Russell slotted into third with a 1:23.462, his W16 alive in the cooler air, particularly through the twisty middle sector where he extracted clean lines and minimal slide.

Ollie Bearman continued his breakout form in fourth for Haas, while Sauber duo of Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto impressed in fifth and sixth, leveraging the C45’s straightline speed.

Isack Hadjar maintained momentum for Racing Bulls in seventh ahead of his 2026 Red Bull promotion, followed by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in eighth after his lap was marred by a scruffy entry into Turn 11.

Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli rounded out the top 10 in FP2.
