Marc Marquez ended his Red Bull Ring victory drought by clinching an impeccable Sprint Race triumph over his brother Alex Marquez who settled for second, 1.180 seconds adrift.
Meanwhile, Pedro Acosta maintained his sensational performance over the weekend to round out the podium for KTM Factory.
Marco Bezzecchi was unable to convert his P1 start into a podium but held firm under pressure to claim a creditable fourth place for Aprilia while KTM’s Brad Binder sealed his best Sprint result of 2025 in fifth.
Gresini rookie sensation Fermin Aldeguer rallied with a strong race to finish sixth, marking his best Sprint showing of the year so far, while Enea Bastianini steered KTM Tech3 to a solid seventh place finish.
Fabio Di Giannantonio fought back from a frustrating qualifying to come home eighth for VR46 Ducati ahead of Johann Zarco who opted for a different tyre strategy to claim ninth for Honda LCR.
Reigning MotoGP world champion Jorge Martin rounded out the top ten for Aprilia Racing.
