Monaco E-Prix 2026 Race 2 Results: Oliver Rowland revives title fight with first win

Oliver Rowland surged from the midfield to win the second leg of 2026 Formula E Monaco E‑Prix and reignite his title defence.

Driving the Nissan Gen3 Evo, Rowland pulled off a strategic Attack Mode split after spending much of the first half of the race among the top 10 and powered through the closing stages to claim his first win of Season 12.

Behind him, Felipe Drugovich sealed his maiden Formula E podium with a brilliant second-place finish for Andretti, while Jaguar’s Antonio Felix da Costa recovered from a first-lap spin at the Nouvelle Chicane after being tagged by Edoardo Mortara to take third.

Mortara was slapped with a 10-second penalty for the incident, dropping his Mahindra to fifth behind Jaguar’s Mitch Evans in the final classification.

Jake Dennis managed to finish sixth after contact with both Taylor Barnard and Dan Ticktum on Lap 16, as pole sitter Ticktum received five-second penalty for speeding under a yellow flag, dropping him all the way down to 14th place.

The full course yellow was triggered by his Cupra Kiro teammate Pepe Marti, who had collided with Nick Cassidy at La Rascasse. Marti was forced to retire from the race due to extensive damage, as Cassidy proceeded to finish last.

Norman Nato also retired from the race after contact with Taylor Barnard who later triggered another yellow after sliding into the barriers at Mirabeau while attempting to pass Evans.

Nico Mueller finished seventh for Porsche despite hitting the wall at La Rascasse after clipping Citroen’s Jean-Eric Vergne. Joel Eriksson took eighth-place, ahead of Monaco E-Prix Race 1 winner Nyck de Vries as Lola’s Lucas di Grassi wrapped up the top ten.
