Full 2026 Indianapolis 500 schedule: Qualifying, Practice, Race times and TV

The anticipation for the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500 has reached a fever pitch as IndyCar descends at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway for two weeks of non-stop action.

As the crown jewel of the 2026 IndyCar season, the event will anchor a rigorous two‑week buildup of on‑track activity featuring open tests, early practices and qualifying before the Marquee race day on Sunday, May 24.

Track action begins on Tuesday 12th May with the first official practice sessions which will span four days until Friday, followed by two days of qualifying (Saturday and Sunday).

Once the qualifying weekend is over, another practice session will take place on the Monday before the race, followed by the traditional Carb Day on Friday, May 22.

FOX Sports will present a large block of live Indy 500 programming across FS1, FS2 and FOX network windows, offering more than 60 hours of coverage across practice, qualifying and race-week features, including a lineup of practice broadcasts on FS2 and FS1 in the days leading up to qualifying and the race itself.
