2025 Portuguese MotoGP Sprint Race Results

Alex Marquez edged Pedro Acosta to claim his second MotoGP Sprint race victory of the season at Portimao.

Pole-sitter Marco Bezzecchi had to settle for third as his Aprilia struggled to match the pace of the leading Ducati and KTM machines.

Behind the leading trio, Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo managed to finish fourth after holding off a late charge from Fabio di Giannantonio who finished fifth for VR46 Racing.

Fermin Aldeguer, also from BK8 Gresini Racing, overcame a poor qualifying effort to climb through the ranks and claim an impressive sixth place, demonstrating strong race craft in difficult conditions.

Honda LCR’s Johann Zarco managed to edge out Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia for seventh place after a close duel with KTM duo of Brad Binder and Pol Espargaro completing the top ten.
