FIA WEC 2026 calendar confirmed

Checkout the full FIA WEC 2026 calendar featuring eight World Endurance Championship rounds.

Announced on the eve of the 93rd edition of the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 2026 schedule preserves the eight-round format and the same set of circuits as the previous year.

The FIA WEC 2026 season will once again commence in Qatar with the traditional Prologue pre-season test at the Lusail International Circuit scheduled for March 22-23.

The opening race, the Qatar 1812km, will take place a week later on March 28, marking a shift from previous years due to the timing of Ramadan which necessitated a later start.

Following the curtain-raiser in the Middle East, the World Endurance Championship heads to Europe for a trio of spring events that have become staples of the WEC calendar.

The 6 Hours of Imola in Italy is set for April 19, followed by the TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium on May 9.

The European leg culminates in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, scheduled for June 13-14. Notably, the 2026 Le Mans race will once again coincide with the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix, continuing a trend of high-profile motorsport calendar clashes.

After the European races, the championship shifts to the Americas, beginning with the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo at Brazil’s Interlagos circuit on July 12. This marks the second consecutive year that WEC will visit South America.

The Lone Star Le Mans at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, follows on September 6, ensuring that North America remains a key pillar of the championship.

The final rounds in FIA WEC 2026 calendar take the championship eastward, with the 6 Hours of Fuji in Japan scheduled for September 27. Fuji Speedway will mark a significant milestone in 2026 as it hosts the 100th WEC race—a testament to the series’ growth and sustained success since its relaunch in 2012.

The season will conclude under the lights in Bahrain, with the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain set for November 7.
