Honda’s Joan Mir topped the timesheets with a blistering 1m56.874s lap amid challenging conditions that saw rain curtail the afternoon session.
Franco Morbidelli delivered a strong showing on year-old Ducati’s GP25 prototype to finish second, 0.109s adrift, while VR46 teammate Fabio Di Giannantonio followed closely in third.
KTM’s Pedro Acosta claimed the fourth fastest lap, 0.242s off the benchmark, trailed by stablemate Maverick Vinales who clocked the most laps of the day.
