Marco Bezzecchi has seized control atop the riders’ standings after claiming a dominant victory in Brazil, moving to 56 points and assuming a commanding 11‑point advantage over his teammate Jorge Martín.
Bezzecchi’s run now represents four consecutive Grand Prix victories, a streak that has transformed him from a charismatic contender into the clear favorite for the 2026 crown, at least in the early stages of the season.
Martín, who finished second in Brazil, jumped to 45 points and now sits firmly in second place, giving Aprilia a 1-2 lock on the title race while simultaneously unseating KTM’s Pedro Acosta from the summit.
Acosta, who began the weekend as the provisional championship leader after a strong opening round, has dropped to third in the standings, just 3 points behind Martin.
Fabio di Giannantonio is the leading Ducati rider in fourth, followed by defending champion Marc Márquez in fifth, 22 points behind the new title leader.
Trackhouse Aprilia duo of Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez sit sixth and seventh, respectively, as Gresini’s Alex Marquez jumps to eighth after scoring his first points of the season in Brazil.
