This reveal comes at a pivotal moment for the sport, with the Korean manufacturer committing fully to the 2026 season amid intense competition from rivals like Toyota, positioning the i20 N as a refined weapon designed for triple crown success.
At the heart of the new livery design is a return to Hyundai’s iconic Performance Blue and Active Red color scheme, evoking the brand’s performance pedigree while integrating subtle nods to key milestones in its racing history.
Visual elements honor the Nürburgring, the spiritual home of Hyundai N high-performance division, with dynamic motifs inspired by the legendary Nordschleife circuit, alongside tributes to Namyang, Hyundai Motor Group’s R&D and Design Centre in South Korea where the i20 N’s innovations were born.
This refreshed aesthetic extends beyond static imagery; Hyundai plans special edition liveries for select events, adding thematic flair that could celebrate local cultures or historical rally moments, enhancing fan engagement and brand visibility across the 14-round 2026 World Rally Championship calendar.
