Marc Marquez prevailed in a three way battle against his brother Alex Marquez and Ducati teammate Francesco Bagnaia to claim his first premier class victory at Mugello since 2014.
While the younger Marquez crossed the finish line in second, Bagnaia lost his chance to secure a home podium finish to Fabio di Giannantonio with the Italian rider ultimately settling in fourth.
Marco Bezzecchi overcame early drama which saw his RS-GP25 sustain wing damage to finish fifth, securing valuable points for Aprilia. Franco Morbidelli dropped to sixth after enduring a dramatic race that included a penalty for a clumsy re-pass attempt on Maverick Viñales who suffered a crash.

2025 MotoGP Italy Sprint Race Results – Mugello
Raul Fernandez enjoyed one of his strongest outings of the season after finishing seventh while Red Bull KTM duo of Pedro Acosta and Brad Binder finished eighth and ninth respectively, separated by a mere 0.028 seconds at the line.
Rookie Ai Ogura, returning to action after missing the previous round due to injury, impressed with a composed ride to tenth place for Trackhouse Aprilia.
