NASCAR Truck MillerTech Battery 200 Results – Pocono

Full 2025 NASCAR Truck MillerTech Battery 200 Results – Layne Riggs edges Tanner Gray at Pocono Raceway to claim his first victory of the season.

The race, held on June 20, 2025, at the famed 2.5-mile “Tricky Triangle,” showcased the unpredictable nature of NASCAR racing, where speed, strategy, and circumstance all played defining roles in shaping the outcome.

Layne Riggs, driving the No. 34 Bare Knuckle Boxing Ford F-150 for Front Row Motorsports, began his weekend with a statement of intent by capturing his first career pole position.

When the green flag dropped for the 80-lap, 200-mile event, Riggs and Honeycutt led the field into turn one.

Honeycutt, starting from the outside of the front row, seized the early advantage but it was Corey Heim who made a decisive move through turn two, taking the lead and setting the tone for the first half of the race.

Heim who has been a dominant force in the 2025 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series season, appeared poised to add another win to his tally as he led an impressive 48 laps, more than half the race distance.

The first stage of the MillerTech Battery 200 was marked by strategic pit stops and a timely caution. With two laps remaining in Stage 1, Heim and several leaders ducked into pit road anticipating the stage break.

That decision opened the door for Riggs who stayed out and capitalized on the situation, taking Stage 1 win. The top ten at the end of the opening segment included Riggs, Honeycutt, Connor Mosack, Andres Perez, Jake Garcia, Stewart Friesen, Brandon Jones, Chandler Smith, Tyler Ankrum, and Ben Rhodes.

Stage 2 saw Heim reassert his dominance, winning his 12th stage of the season and reinforcing his status as the championship favorite.

The closing laps of the MillerTech Battery 200 were defined by a series of incidents and misfortunes that upended the running order. With 19 laps to go, Heim suffered a right-rear tire failure forcing him to pit and surrender the lead at a critical juncture.

This misfortune proved pivotal as Riggs inherited the lead and became the control car for the subsequent restart. Adding to the drama, Carson Hocevar who had been running near the front was penalized for a restart violation, removing another key contender from the battle for victory.

The final stage also included a chaotic three-wide battle involving Grant Enfinger, Ben Rhodes, and Tyler Ankrum, which resulted in a multi-truck incident and another caution.

On the following restart, Jake Garcia lost control and spun but managed to avoid contact with the wall or other trucks, allowing the race to continue under green.

With the field reshuffled and several favorites sidelined by misfortune or penalties, Riggs found himself in command. Demonstrating both composure and speed he led the final 20 laps, pulling away from the competition and ultimately crossing the finish line 3.640 seconds ahead of Tanner Gray.

Kaden Honeycutt secured a well-earned third-place finish for Niece Motorsports. Brandon Jones impressed with a fourth-place finish for TRICON Garage while Daniel Hemric, driving for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, rounded out the top five.
