Charles Leclerc outpaced Max Verstappen and Lando Norris to complete a clean sweep across all three practice sessions – Full Monaco Grand Prix FP3 Results 2025 F1.
The Ferrari driver’s lap of 1:10.953 on soft tires not only reaffirmed his status as a hometown favorite but also sent a clear signal to his Formula 1 rivals that he is the man to beat heading into qualifying.
Charles Leclerc’s dominance was underlined by his ability to consistently find improvements throughout the session, culminating in a final flier that put him nearly three-tenths clear of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and McLaren’s Lando Norris.
Behind the leading trio, team papaya continued to show strong form with Oscar Piastri finishing fourth just ahead of Lewis Hamilton.
However, Hamilton’s session ended in dramatic fashion when he lost control of his car at Massenet, clipping the wall with his right-rear tire before sliding into the barriers front-first.
The incident brought out the red flags and brought the session to a premature close, leaving Ferrari’s mechanics with a significant repair job ahead of qualifying.

Williams also enjoyed a productive session with Alexander Albon securing sixth place while teammate Carlos Sainz finished eighth. Racing Bulls’ Liam Lawson was sandwiched by the Grove duo in seventh.
Red Bull’s Yuki Tsunoda took ninth while Mercedes rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli impressed with a tenth-place finish.
Mercedes, however, continued to struggle for outright pace with Antonelli’s teammate George Russell finishing eleventh. The Silver Arrows have yet to find the sweet spot with their car around Monaco, and Russell’s struggles were compounded by a lack of rhythm and confidence throughout the session.
