Will Power claimed pole position at WWTR ahead of his teammate Scott McLaughlin who solidified a Team Penske front-row lockout for Sunday’s Bommarito Automotive Group 500.
The second row presented a blend of youth and experience, with Arrow McLaren’s Pato O’Ward taking third and David Malukas lining up fourth ahead of defending Gateway winner Josef Newgarden who qualified fifth.
Sharing the third row with Newgarden was Marcus Armstrong and his teammate Felix Rosenqvist who delivered a strong performance for Meyer Shank Racing.

Andretti Global’s Colton Herta and Kyle Kirkwood both delivered solid qualifying efforts, securing eighth and tenth positions, respectively with reigning series champion Alex Palou splitting the duo in ninth.
