Colton Herta secured pole position for the second consecutive year after clocking an impressive speed of 97.920 mph in qualifying, marking his 15th career pole.
David Malukas qualified second with a speed of 97.643 mph while Kyle Kirkwood took third spot with 97.512 mph. The front row lineup underscores the fierce competition between Honda and Chevrolet-powered teams, with Herta and Kirkwood representing Honda while Malukas drives for Chevrolet.
Christian Lundgaard secured the fourth position for Chevrolet followed by Alex Palou in fifth aiming for his sixth win of the season. Rinus VeeKay and Scott Dixon, both Honda drivers, start sixth and tenth respectively while Chevrolet’s Scott McLaughlin and Will Power start seventh and eighth
Notably, Scott Dixon and Graham Rahal face six-position grid penalties due to unauthorized engine modifications, which will impact their starting positions despite their strong qualifying times.
