George Russell settled into fourth just ahead of Lewis Hamilton while Isack Hadjar impressed with a strong sixth-place finish for Racing Bulls.
Lando Norris finished seventh for McLaren, while Liam Lawson, Pierre Gasly and Charles Leclerc rounded out the top ten, with the latter suffering an early crash.
