Cadillac WTR Mobil 1 livery unveiled ahead of Le Mans 24 Hours debut

Wayne Taylor Racing has officially unveiled its striking Cadillac WTR Mobil 1 livery as the team prepares for its highly anticipated debut at the 93rd Le Mans 24 Hours.

The iconic FIA WEC race scheduled for June 14-15 will see the blue-and-white #101 Cadillac V-Series.R Hypercar entry adorned with the emblematic Mobil 1 branding, take to the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe.

The partnership between Cadillac Racing and Mobil 1 not only underscores a shared commitment to innovation and high-performance motorsport but also represents a new chapter in both brands’ decorated racing histories.

Courtesy of the new sponsorship, the #101 Cadillac V-Series.R will feature a dynamic blend of blue and white punctuated by the instantly recognizable Mobil 1 logo on its sides and front, a visual testament to the collaboration between two titans of automotive performance.

The Cadillac WTR Mobil 1 livery was first showcased during a shakedown at Putnam Park circuit near Indianapolis.

Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac confirmed for 2025 Le Mans debut

Wayne Taylor Racing’s journey to Le Mans is a story steeped in both professional achievement and personal legacy.

Wayne Taylor himself a veteran of thirteen Le Mans starts—including three with Cadillac between 2000 and 2002—now sees his sons Ricky and Jordan Taylor preparing to compete in the world’s most prestigious endurance race under the family banner.

The Taylor brothers who previously celebrated victory with their father at the 2017 Rolex 24 at Daytona will be joined by the accomplished Portuguese driver Filipe Albuquerque – an 11-time Le Mans competitor and 2020 LMP2 class winner.

This formidable driver lineup brings a blend of experience, skill, and familial pride to the #101 Cadillac entry, fueling hopes for a strong performance in their maiden Le Mans campaign.

The race will serve as a litmus test for Wayne Taylor Racing’s capabilities on the world stage. While the team boasts an impressive pedigree in North American endurance racing—including four victories at the Daytona 24 Hours between 2017 and 2021 as well as triumphs at the Sebring 12 Hours—Le Mans presents a unique set of challenges.

The Circuit de la Sarthe with its blend of high-speed straights, technical corners, and unpredictable weather demands not only mechanical robustness but also flawless teamwork and strategic acumen.
