Lewis Hamilton parties hard in New York ahead of the Miami Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton enjoyed a night out in New York with two unknown ladies ahead of the Miami Grand Prix this weekend.

Seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton, partied at Cipriani in New York with two women before the inaugural Miami Grand Prix on Sunday.

Lewis Hamilton, who is presently in the United States ahead of the Miami Grand Prix this weekend, had a night out at Cipriani’s in New York on Tuesday, letting his hair down before hitting the racetrack.

The Mercedes racing driver, 37, was not alone on the outing, as he was accompanied by two mystery girls who appeared to be in high spirits in the presence of the F1 ace.

In a black jacket, jumper, and jeans, the athlete, who has recently spoken about his mission to enhance diversity in his sport, kept things casual for his night out.

He also wore many hefty chains, his braids in an updo, and a black facemask to ensure his safety. Meanwhile, his companions looked stunning in their individual outfits. One of the girls wore a corset top with beige leather pants and a cropped coat. The other wore a green blazer with elegant black boots and carried a shoulder bag.

The night out comes as Lewis describes his 16-year Formula One career as “really quite a lonely journey,” as the Mercedes driver laments the sport’s lack of diversity.

On Monday in New York, the seven-time world champion, who is the only black driver in Formula 1, appeared on Good Morning America.

It is F1’s first visit to Miami, and in addition to discussing the sport’s “burgeoning” appeal in the United States, Lewis discussed his objective to enhance diversity in the sport with the Hamilton Commission, which was established in 2020.

“It’s been genuinely quite a lonely journey,” he said on the popular ABC show.

“Me and my family were the only black family. I’ve been racing 29 years, I’m 37 now, but I’ve been professional for 16 years and always most often being the only person of colour in the room.”

“And when I asked the question there was no real great feedback answer to that question so I put together the Hamilton Commission because it starts with education and understanding.”

Lewis Hamilton is unlikely to win a record-breaking eighth Formula One championship this season, so it’s only right the Mercedes driver may relax after a rough start to 2022.

Hamilton, 37, is currently sixth in the standings with only 28 points from four races. When he races in the inaugural Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, he’ll be hoping to improve on his performance.

Given how he’s performed thus far this season, some may think Hamilton’s trip to New York was unjustified. Last year’s title was won by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in the season finale in Abu Dhabi, but the Mercedes driver has appeared miles behind at times in 2022.

Hamilton’s teammate George Russell has emerged as the superior Mercedes driver, now sitting fourth in the standings.

Mercedes’ W13 design has struggled with the ‘porpoising’ impact more than most title-challenging competitors, but even then, Hamilton’s results have been poor.

With so much pressure on Hamilton to provide regular results, a more easygoing approach could be the key to him rediscovering his best self. And if the Formula One superstar is able to show improvement in Florida this weekend, he may owe it to two people in particular.
