After dropping their Russian sponsor following the escalating crisis in Ukraine, Haas took to the track for the final day of F1 testing in Barcelona with a white livery.

Haas 2022 Formula 1 car has appeared in a revised white livery for the conclusion of this week’s pre-season test session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, after the team removed their Uralkali sponsorship logos and Russian flag colour scheme.

Following Russia’s military activity in neighboring Ukraine, Haas announced on Thursday evening that they will be removing branding for their title sponsor, Uralkali, for the last day of the Barcelona pre-season test.

Uralkali is a Russian potash fertilizer manufacturer and exporter owned by the father of Haas driver Nikita Mazepin.  Haas is in their second season with the Russian company as its title sponsor, and the team was sporting white, red, and blue which are the colors of the Russian flag.

The Uralkali emblems on the Haas trucks and RV in the paddock have also been removed as Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher are set for track action for the final day of pre-season testing at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

As a result of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, F1 teams and the FIA met yesterday night to discuss the 2022 running of the Russian Grand Prix after Sebastian Vettel indicated he would not attend the event if it were to take place.

Guenther Steiner, the Haas team principal, was absent from yesterday’s press conference, as Nikita Mazepin’s media appearance was also canceled.

“Haas F1 Team will present its VF-22 in a basic white livery, minus Uralkali logo, for the third and final day of track running at Circuit de Barcelona- Catalunya on Friday 25 February,” Haas said in a statement posted last night.
“At this point, no further comment will be made on team partner agreements,” the team said.
